Restaurant Food Quality Officer in Dubai to oversee food safety compliance and quality assurance operations across our central kitchen, catering division, B2B production units, and multiple restaurant outlets.

Food Quality Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining food safety management systems, ensuring HACCP compliance, managing ISO 22000 standards, and conducting audits across all operational units. This role is ideal for a food safety professional with experience in multi-unit F&B operations, central kitchens, or food manufacturing environments in the UAE.

Job Responsibilities

Food Safety & HACCP Implementation

  • Develop, implement, and continuously monitor HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) systems across all facilities.
  • Identify critical control points (CCPs) and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE food safety regulations and Dubai Municipality guidelines.

ISO 22000 & Food Safety Management Systems

  • Maintain and monitor compliance with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) or equivalent standards.
  • Review SOPs, PRPs, and operational procedures to ensure alignment with international food safety standards.
  • Support certification processes and surveillance audits.

Audits & Regulatory Compliance

  • Conduct internal audits, hygiene inspections, and risk assessments across central kitchens and outlets.
  • Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) follow-ups.
  • Prepare for and support external audits by regulatory authorities and certification bodies.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate food safety documentation, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and audit records.
  • Prepare food safety compliance reports for management review.
  • Ensure traceability systems are updated and functioning effectively.

Staff Training & Awareness

  • Conduct food hygiene and safety training sessions for kitchen, production, and service teams.
  • Promote food safety awareness programs across all departments.
  • Monitor personal hygiene, sanitation standards, and GMP compliance.
  • Work closely with production, operations, purchasing, and management teams to maintain consistent food quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety culture across all locations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • HACCP Certification (Mandatory).
  • Proven experience with ISO 22000 or other food safety management systems.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, central kitchens, catering, or multi-unit F&B operations.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE food safety laws and Dubai Municipality regulations.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and audit coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
