Quality Specialist

A Food Production Industry in Victoria, Australia is hiring a Quality Specialist with the following:

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Work with the Quality Manager to prepare for and participate in audits.
• Check and test products during the production process to ensure it meet quality standards.
• Check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Document testing and inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.

• Maintain the document control system.
• Analyse results and make suggestions for improvement.
• Assist with investigations and root cause analysis and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Internal and 3rd party auditing experience.
• Working knowledge of a GFSI standard.
• Minimum 2 years working in general food manufacturing across multiple processes.
• Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a similar discipline.
