Job Responsibilities

  • Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS):
    Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality management systems in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct Quality Audits: FSMS
    Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC):
    Monitor and analyze production processes using statistical tools to identify trends, prevent defects, and improve efficiency.
  • ISO Standards Implementation:
    Ensure the organization complies with applicable ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and other quality certifications. Assist in documentation, training, and system improvements.
  • FSSAI Compliance: FSMS
    Ensure that all food safety processes comply with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) requirements, including licensing, labelling, hygiene, and safety norms.
  • Process Improvement:
    Work closely with the production team to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective measures to enhance product quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, non-conformances, and audit findings. Generate periodic quality reports for management review.
  • Training & Awareness:
    Conduct training sessions for staff on quality procedures, hygiene practices, and standard operating procedures to promote a culture of quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology or related field.
  • Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
    • Sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
    • Familiarity with statistical process control techniques.
    • Understanding of ISO standards and FSSAI regulations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience:
    • Freshers are welcome to apply.
    • Internship or academic project experience in food safety/quality will be an added advantage.
