A Bakery in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Quality Controller Officer with the following:
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP plans for all production processes.
- Identify potential food safety hazards associated with raw materials, processes, and products.
- Determine critical control points (CCPs) where hazards can be prevented, eliminated, or reduced to acceptable levels.
- Establish critical limits for each CCP to ensure food safety.
- Develop monitoring procedures to ensure that CCPs are under control.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with HACCP principles.
- Take corrective actions when deviations from critical limits occur.
- Maintain accurate records of HACCP plans, monitoring activities, and corrective actions.
- Train employees on HACCP principles and procedures.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices related to food safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of food safety principles, including HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, and FSSC 22000.
- Knowledge of food processing technologies, microbiology, and food chemistry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for food safety.
- Experience in quality control or assurance roles within the food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is a plus.
