Quality Controller Manager wanted in a leading Restaurant and Food Service Operations in Dubai, UAE with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA/QC policies, SOPs, and quality management systems for all restaurant operations
  • Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE food safety laws, hygiene codes, and operational standards
  • Conduct scheduled and surprise quality audits across kitchens, food preparation areas, storage facilities, dining areas, and back-of-house operations
  • Oversee implementation, monitoring, and compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, or equivalent food safety management systems
  • Identify non-conformities, root causes, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Train, coach, and guide restaurant managers, chefs, and operational staff on food safety, sanitation, SOPs, and quality standards
  • Monitor supplier quality, food handling practices, storage conditions, cold chain compliance, and inventory control processes
  • Review customer complaints, food safety inspection reports, and audit findings to drive service and quality improvements
  • Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, supply chain, and senior management teams
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, compliance dashboards, and performance presentations for company leadership
  • Ensure consistent brand standards for food quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and service across all TFD restaurant locations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, food safety culture, and customer experience

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in restaurant chains, hospitality groups, catering companies, or food service operations
  • Strong knowledge of UAE food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and restaurant operational standards
  • Proven experience conducting internal audits and compliance inspections in multi-outlet restaurant environments
  • Hands-on expertise in HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, or similar quality and food safety frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and staff training skills
  • Strong ability in documentation, reporting, risk assessment, and problem-solving
  • Willingness to travel between restaurant locations as required
  • Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in Food Safety, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, or Quality Management
  • Additional certifications related to food hygiene, internal auditing, or quality systems are an advantage.
