A Food and Beverages Company is looking for a Quality Controller in Dubai, UAE with the following:
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, including ingredients and packaging materials, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor and enforce sanitation and hygiene practices throughout the production process to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Perform regular testing and analysis of products at various stages of production to assess quality attributes such as taste, texture, color, pH levels, and microbial contamination.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control tests and results, and prepare reports documenting findings and any deviations from standards.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay informed about changes in food safety regulations and industry best practices, and ensure that processes and procedures are updated accordingly.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
- Participate in customer audits and respond to quality-related inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in quality control operations.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of [8] years of experience in food and beverage quality control or a related senior role as a Chef in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Experience with quality control testing methods and equipment.
