Quality Controller Coordinator – Farm Produce

A large-scale commercial Farm produce of water-grown Lettuce and Kale in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking for a Quality Controller Coordinator :

Job Responsibilities

• Online QC Monitoring:
  • Continuous online QC monitoring of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor product specifications, packaging, labeling, and storage temperatures.
• GMP and Hygiene:
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including personal hygiene, pest control, and hygiene training for staff.
  • Monitor staff working habits and advise on the implementation of sanitization and hygiene procedures (CIP).
• Processing and Packing:
  • Online monitoring of the processing and packing stages to ensure product quality.
  • Monitor and advise on the efficient implementation of CCP, OPRP, and PRP.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Maintain online QC records and generate non-conformity reports.
  • Ensure efficient production runs to minimize ingredient loss, package loss, and downtime caused by quality control issues.
  • Conduct QA hold and release of products, and perform product quality and sensory evaluations.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Implement safety measures to prevent work injuries and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints, conduct investigations, and submit quality reports.
  • Conduct inbound and outbound inspections and provide refresher training to food handlers.
  • Inspect the quality of packaging materials.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry as a Quality Controller Coordinator (QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) in Farm Produce.
• Certifications: Mandatory HACCP (Level 3) certification.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in implementing GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform sensory evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and reporting.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining QC records.
  • Problem-solving skills for handling customer complaints and investigations.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
  • Ability to join immediately.
  • Willingness to stay on-site in the provided accommodation.
