Quality Controller and Safety Officer – F&B

Quality Controller & Safety Officer (F&B) to join a Lebanese restaurant in Dubai. The role is responsible for ensuring that all food handling, preparation, storage, and service processes comply with HACCP, Dubai Municipality regulations, and Food Watch standards. You will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to exceptional quality and food safety across all operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor daily kitchen and service operations to ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Implement and maintain HACCP procedures and assist with audits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations and maintain Food Watch records.
• Conduct regular inspections of food storage, preparation, and service areas to ensure safety and quality.
• Train and guide staff on hygiene practices, sanitation, and safe food handling procedures.
• Investigate and report any incidents of non-compliance, contamination, or customer complaints related to food safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation, checklists, and reports for audits and internal reviews.
• Work closely with the operations team to continuously improve food safety systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Food Technology, Food Safety, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in food safety, quality control, or similar roles in the F&B industry (restaurant experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, Dubai Municipality guidelines, and Food Watch compliance.
• Excellent communication and training skills to guide multi-cultural teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle audits, inspections, and corrective action plans effectively.
