A growing snacks food manufacturing company in Dubai, UAE is currently hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer (QC Officer) to ensure that all snack food products meet strict food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The QC Officer will be responsible for monitoring raw materials, production processes, hygiene practices, and finished products to ensure compliance with international food safety systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in snacks production, bakery manufacturing, or food processing plants who want to grow their career in the UAE food manufacturing sector.

The Quality Control Officer will play a critical role in maintaining product safety and quality across the entire snack food production process, including raw material inspection, production monitoring, product testing, and storage verification.

The candidate will ensure that all manufacturing operations follow food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control procedures required by UAE authorities and international certification systems.

Job Responsibilities

Raw Material Quality Inspection

The QC Officer will inspect all incoming raw materials used in snack food production to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.

  • Inspect and verify the quality of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials
  • Review supplier Certificates of Analysis (COA) and quality documentation
  • Check expiry dates, batch numbers, packaging condition, and labeling
  • Verify that materials are stored under proper temperature and hygiene conditions
  • Approve or reject materials according to quality specifications

Proper inspection of raw materials helps maintain the safety and consistency of snack food products.

Production Process Monitoring

The Quality Control Officer will closely monitor snack production lines to ensure all operations follow approved procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor production stages such as mixing, frying, baking, seasoning, and packaging

  • Monitor critical parameters including temperature, frying time, baking time, and equipment settings

The QC Officer must identify and report any quality deviations during production.

Audit and Regulatory Compliance

The Quality Control Officer will support the company in maintaining compliance with international food safety standards.

  • Assist in internal quality audits
  • Support external certification audits
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations
  • Assist during regulatory inspections and food safety authority audits
  • Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation

Job Qualifications
