Catering Comapny in Abu Dhbai, UAE is looking for a Quality Control Officer with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance
    • Implement and monitor food safety and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with HACCP and other relevant standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of catering facilities to identify and rectify any issues related to food safety and hygiene.
    • Oversee the preparation and serving of food to ensure it meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformity reports, and corrective actions.
    • Prepare and present reports on quality control findings to management and suggest improvements.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop and conduct training programs for staff on food safety and hygiene practices.
    • Ensure all staff are aware of and adhere to food safety policies and procedures.
  • Compliance and Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest UAE food safety regulations and ensure company practices are in compliance.
    • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in food safety and quality assurance processes.
  • Incident Management:
    • Investigate and manage any incidents related to food safety, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of preventive measures.
    • Coordinate with relevant departments to handle customer complaints related to food quality and safety.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain.
    • Foster a culture of food safety and quality within the organization.

Qualification

  • Graduate in Food Technology or a related field.
  • HACCP Level 3 certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the U.A.E. catering services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
  • Proficient in conducting internal audits and inspections.
  • Strong understanding of UAE food safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
