Quality Control Inspector

An HR company in Dubai, UAE is hiring a Quality Control Inspector with the following:

Responsibilities

• Rejecting the non-conforming products, accepting conditionally if required after consulting his superior.
• Monitoring Temperature and relative humidity of the warehouse area and proper escalation upon any deviations.
• Inspection of new samples received from the Procurement team and updating response of quality status of those samples.
• Review all documents and certifications, and make changes when and where required by regulations and procedures ensuring that incoming materials (all raw materials & packaging materials), producing goods, and finished goods are in line with the company quality standards.

• To raise external Non-conformance for any serious safety and quality issues of the product.
• Accountable for preventing any cross-contamination to the products while inspecting on the inspection tray.
• Preparation of product inspection report with quality status and forwarding the report summary to purchase and warehouse on daily basis.
• Communicating properly with warehouse staff and other Quality Controllers on status of conditionally accepted products requiring special treatment.

• Scheduling & supervising product fumigation activities when required.
• Proper filling of records on time and proper documentation in the final files.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
• Candidate should have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of GCC experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry.

• Understanding of target market and consumer needs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and Good written and verbal communication skills.
• UAE National Prefereed.
