Quality Control Executive to support food processing operations in Kerala. The role involves overseeing quality control and quality assurance activities across raw materials, in-process production, and finished products, while ensuring strict compliance with food safety standards, GMP, GHP, and internal quality systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in food science or allied sciences and a disciplined approach toward maintaining quality excellence within the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare syrups, formulations, and production batches as per approved specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct quality inspection, testing, analysis, and verification of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Perform in-process quality checks during various stages of food production to ensure compliance with defined quality parameters and food safety standards.
- Ensure product quality consistency and adherence to internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including batch manufacturing records (BMRs), quality checklists, inspection reports, deviation records, and test reports.
- Monitor and enforce personal hygiene, factory hygiene, and sanitation practices, including supervision of housekeeping and cleaning activities.
- Support implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Good Housekeeping Practices (GHPK), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) across the facility.
- Identify quality deviations and non-conformities, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Assist in internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews, ensuring readiness for customer and regulatory audits.
- Train and continuously monitor production executives, operators, and shop-floor personnel on quality standards, hygiene practices, and food safety requirements.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of quality assurance activities.
- Perform various Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) tasks in line with organizational policies, food safety standards, and operational guidelines.
