Quality Control Assistant – Laboratory vacnacy in Sharjah UAE to support QC, production, and regulatory teams. The ideal candidate will carry out routine testing, sample preparation, documentation, and compliance activities to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality and safety standards. This role is key in maintaining smooth laboratory operations, assisting in audits, and supporting product development activities within afragrance, cosmetic, or chemical manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities – Quality Control Assistant – Laboratory

  • Conduct routine sampling and perform basic quality tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following established QC procedures and industry best practices.
  • Systematically prepare, label, and record all test and retain samples to maintain traceability.
  • Maintain up-to-date QC logs, including test reports, analysis sheets, batch records, and retain sample documentation.
  • Monitor the storage conditions of all retained samples to ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and shelf-life requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with production and warehouse teams for inspection and verification of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods.
  • Assist in the investigation, tracking, and documentation of non-conformities, deviations, out-of-spec results, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare fragrance, essential oil, and product samples for client evaluation, internal testing, and presentations.
  • Ensure accurate measurement, labeling, documentation, and traceability for each prepared sample.
  • Maintain organized records of sample inventory, including expiry monitoring, replenishment updates, and proper disposal logs.
  • Support the QC team and perfumer with sample blending, evaluations, and trial batches as required.
  • Follow all hygiene, safety, and chemical handling protocols during sample preparation and laboratory activities.

Regulatory & Documentation Support – Quality Control Assistant – Laboratory

Quality Control Assistant – Laboratory must prepare, update, and organize key compliance documents such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS), IFRA certificates, Allergen Declarations, Technical Data Sheets, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA).Assist with product registration, regulatory submissions, and compliance documentation required by clients or local authorities.Maintain both digital and physical folders for all regulatory and QC records in a well-organized, secure, and easily retrievable manner.Communicate with suppliers to obtain and update compliance certificates, specifications, and other technical files.Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation, reports, and evidence.Ensure all records and activities comply with ISO standards, GMP guidelines, and internal quality management procedures.

  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of all samples, test data, and company documents.
  • Keep the laboratory, sample preparation area, and shared production zones clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
  • Assist cross-functional teams—including Production, Warehouse, QC, and R&D—to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.
  • Support the Quality Manager or Regulatory Manager in special assignments, continuous improvement projects, and product testing activities.

Job Qualifications – Chemist UAE

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of work experience in fragrance, cosmetics, chemicals, or related manufacturing industries (preferred).
  • Familiarity with laboratory practices, quality control testing, sampling techniques, and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, or similar quality standards is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
