Quality Assurance Specialist to join a Food & Beverage production team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all food products meet the highest standards of food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.This position is best suited for professionals with strong experience in the frozen food industry, particularly those familiar with cold chain manufacturing, food safety systems, and UAE food regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with production, operations, and management teams to ensure that all processes comply with international standards and the Dubai Municipality Food Code.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) systems to ensure all food products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS (BRC), Halal certification, and FDA food safety standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Dubai Municipality Food Code and other UAE food safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections, audits, and process checks throughout the manufacturing and packaging stages.

Cold Chain & Frozen Food Quality Control

  • Oversee cold chain management across production, storage, and distribution to ensure product integrity.
  • Monitor temperature control systems in frozen food manufacturing and logistics.
  • Ensure that frozen products maintain required food safety and quality standards during storage and transportation.

Quality Monitoring & Product Evaluation

  • Inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to verify compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform product evaluations and quality tests to ensure consistency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify any quality deviations, food safety hazards, or process gaps and implement corrective actions.

Food Safety Systems & Documentation

  • Maintain and update documentation related to HACCP plans, quality manuals, food safety records, and audit reports.
  • Prepare reports for internal reviews, regulatory inspections, and third-party certification audits.
  • Support management during external audits and certification processes such as ISO, Halal, and BRCGS.
  • Investigate customer complaints, quality failures, or food safety incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop solutions to address quality control issues and food safety risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes, product quality, and food safety practices.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Provide guidance and supervision to quality control teams in the production environment.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food hygiene, and quality procedures.
  • Promote a strong food safety culture within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the frozen food manufacturing industry in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of cold chain manufacturing, frozen food production, and distribution systems.
  • Proven experience implementing HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS (BRC), Halal standards, and FDA regulations.
  • Extensive understanding of the Dubai Municipality Food Code and UAE food safety regulations.
  • Strong background in food safety management systems and quality assurance in food production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with HACCP implementation, GMP compliance, and food safety audits.
  • Proven ability to manage and guide quality teams to achieve business and operational goals.
