Quality Assurance Senior Executive vacancy at a leading Restaurant Chain in Tamil Nadu, India with relevant Food Safety -Fostac certification and the following
Job Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance & Food Safety Systems:
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs across the production lifecycle. - Documentation & Recordkeeping:
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for raw materials, process control, final products, traceability, and customer complaints. - Audit & Inspection:
Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits. Conduct regular hygiene and food safety audits of the facility and take corrective/preventive actions. - Process Improvement:
Work closely with production and R&D teams to identify areas for process optimization and quality enhancement. - Training & Team Support:
Train line staff and QA team members on food safety procedures, GMPs, hygiene practices, and critical control points. - Customer Complaint Management:
Investigate and analyze customer complaints. Work on root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective action plans (CAPA). - Supplier & Raw Material Quality Management:
Ensure the quality and compliance of incoming raw materials from vendors. Support vendor audits and qualification.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or Food Process Engineering
- Candidates with a strong academic understanding of food safety systems, regulatory frameworks, and manufacturing processes are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of national and international food safety standards
- Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working with documentation and quality control tools
- Good interpersonal and team coordination skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving QA practices
- Ability to travel for audits and supplier assessments if required
