A meat Industry is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager with Microbiological analysis experience with the following:
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee a food safety management system in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Keep abreast of local, national, and international food safety regulations; establish comprehensive policies and procedures accordingly.
- Ensure stringent standards for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Conduct internal audits, coordinate external audits, and manage customer complaints, implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Provide comprehensive staff training on food safety standards and identify avenues for process enhancement.
- Maintain accurate records, liaise with regulatory agencies and suppliers, and supervise day-to-day Microbiology laboratory operations, coordinating with internal teams and overseeing the purchasing team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the Meat industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology.
- Profound knowledge of Micro laboratory analysis protocols.
- Excellent grasp of GSO standards.
- Completion of FSSC 22000 and BRC lead auditor training with extensive experience in conducting internal audits.
