Al Ain Flour Mills in the UAE is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join the team and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in the food.
Responsibilities
- Daily Quality Assurance Checks: Conduct routine quality checks and report findings to verify the implementation and maintenance of our Food Safety & Quality Management System.
- Regulatory Compliance: Assist in implementing and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems to comply with standards such as FDA, FSSC 22000, HALAL, HACCP, and GMP.
- Corrective Actions: Verify corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances, particularly those related to customer complaints and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to and maintain the company’s Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Policies.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Audit Follow-Up: Ensure that findings and recommendations from quality internal audits are rectified and implemented.
- Document Control: Manage all food safety-related documents and records, ensuring current versions are in use.
- Customer Complaints: Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions for customer and supplier complaints.
- Customer Satisfaction Surveys: Conduct quarterly customer satisfaction surveys and document the results.
Qualifications – Quality Assurance Manager
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Control roles within the UAE food industry, preferably in a flour mill or related processing facility.
- Education: Master’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Food Technology. Certifications in Good Hygiene Practice and HACCP are highly desirable.
- Certifications: HALAL, HACCP, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, and BRC Issue 8 Global Standards.
