A leading Food Stuff Trading Company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Could you develop and implement the necessary communication strategies to improve awareness of quality issues across all departments for better Quality Assurance?
- Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.
- Report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards to keep the company updated on all new issues.
- Liaise and cooperate with quality management and standards bodies (e.g., ISO, Government Departments, HSE, etc) to manage staff according to company standards (appraisals, discipline, training, development, etc).
- Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary to ensure effective implementation of HB standards at supply chain regarding Quality Assurance.
- Introduce, promote, and undertake training and other development initiatives to assist in the development of a changing culture to support the continual improvement process.
- Effective management of set KPIs of the department and timely reporting.
- Develops and manages an effective CAPA (Corrective action & Preventive action). Program to investigate and resolve product quality issues, defects, non-conformities, and consumer complaints.
- Supports teams and employs effective problem-solving techniques (DMAIC, Fishbone, etc.) Proactively identifies areas of improvement and implements preventive actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for Quality review meetings, lead daily coordination meetings to discuss ongoing issues, and follow up daily on proposed corrective actions for Quality Assurance.
- Develops and executes internal, as well as external partner quality auditing programs to ensure compliance with GMP, policies/procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze all available criteria (and establish key criteria if not available) to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Collating all the Quality related data followed by trend analysis, and interpretations for further continual improvement for Quality Assurance.
- Ensures quality oversight during new processes and product development and Provides technical support during validation and commissioning activities.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in food technology/food chemistry/food microbiology / Food Safety / General Chemistry / Microbiology.
- 7-10 years in the field of food Quality Assurance/Quality Control, handling similar production.
