Quality Assurance Intern (Food Technology / Food Science) to join a manufacturing team in Bengaluru. This role provides hands-on experience in food production, QA/QC processes, HACCP implementation, and FMCG operations.
As an intern, you will be directly involved in process monitoring, quality testing, food safety documentation, and manpower supervision, ensuring First-Time-Right (FTR) outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for students and fresh graduates in Food Technology to gain industry exposure in a high-growth FMCG company.
Job Responsibilities
As a Production & QA Intern in the FMCG food industry, your role will include:
- Quality Testing & Sensory Evaluation – Conduct moisture, Brix, pH, and organoleptic analysis of sweets and savory products.
- Documentation & Reporting – Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, QA, and food safety.
- Manpower Supervision – Oversee production staff, ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Process Monitoring – Track production outputs, machine performance, and ensure continuous process optimization to reduce wastage.
- Food Safety & Hygiene – Monitor cleaning and sanitation practices in compliance with HACCP, ISO, and FSSAI standards.
- Training & Development – Train and guide food handlers on basic food safety practices and personal hygiene standards.
- Support in Audits – Assist QA team during internal audits, compliance checks, and third-party certifications.
Job Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Food Science, or related fields.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles, ISO standards, food safety laws, and QA/QC systems.
- Freshers or final-year students looking for food technology internships in India (Bengaluru preferred).
