A leading Food Seasoning company in Kochi, Kerala, is looking for a Quality Assurance Executive with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality analysis of raw materials, packaging, in-process, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance of products with quality specifications before release.
  • Carry out sampling, sensory evaluations, and maintain QC protocols.
  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and conduct in-process checks during production.
  • Record and report process deviations; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update QC/IPQC records as per company SOPs and GMP guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain documents for internal, external, and third-party audits.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and FSSC standards.
  • Assist in internal audits and manage Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Coordinate with production, QA, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly quality reports to management.
  • Participate in regulatory, customer, and certification audits; ensure audit readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and labeling regulations (FSSAI, Legal Metrology, etc.).
  • Support regulatory documentation, product registration, and label review.
  • Assist in traceability and recall procedures as per company and legal requirements.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Tech in Food Technology or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in Quality Assurance / QC in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC 22000, and food safety standards.
  • Hands-on experience with QC and IPQC testing, audits, and compliance processes.
  • Familiarity with FSSAI regulations, labeling standards, and legal metrology.
  • Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and audit management.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills for handling non-conformities.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities across cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality and food safety.
