Are you a QHSE professional with a passion for maintaining the highest standards in food safety, health, and workplace safety? Vacancy for QHSE Officer to join leading catering operations in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in the catering, hospitality, or food service industry who are ready to ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and UAE health & safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE management systems in line with UAE laws, company policies, and international standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001/OHSAS requirements.
- Conduct routine food safety and HSE inspections across catering kitchens, storage facilities, and staff accommodations.
- Monitor food handling, preparation, and storage practices to guarantee food hygiene and quality assurance.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities, providing corrective and preventive action plans.
- Deliver QHSE training programs to employees on hygiene, personal safety, fire safety, first aid, and environmental sustainability.
- Carry out risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace hazard analysis to minimize risks.
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and records to ensure compliance and readiness for audits.
- Collaborate with operations, kitchen teams, and management to build a strong safety and food quality culture.
- Act as a liaison with local authorities, auditors, and certification bodies during inspections and audits.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a QHSE Officer in catering, hospitality, or food service.
- Strong knowledge of UAE food safety laws, occupational health regulations, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train and motivate staff at all levels in food safety and workplace safety practices.
- Currently based in the UAE and available for interview and trials.
- Preference for candidates on visit or cancelled visa who are ready to join immediately.
