QHSE and Food Safety Trainer vacancy at a leading Food Training centre in Manama, Bahrain with the folllowing:
Job Responsibilites
- Training Delivery:
Design and deliver both public and in-house training programs/workshops in QHSE and Food Safety Trainer, tailored to meet client requirements and aligned with global and regional standards such as ISO, HACCP, and local regulatory mandates. - Curriculum Development:
Develop and update course materials, manuals, presentations, and assessment tools based on international guidelines (ISO, Codex Alimentarius, etc.) and customer-specific needs to ensure relevance and effectiveness. - Assessment and Evaluation:
Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate knowledge gain, ensuring participants meet certification benchmarks. Provide feedback and improvement suggestions for continuous learning. - Subject-Matter Expertise:
Demonstrate deep and up-to-date knowledge of national and international legal and regulatory frameworks across various industry sectors (e.g., food production, catering, manufacturing). Share practical insights and case studies during training.
- Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain complete and accurate training records, attendance sheets, evaluation forms, and certification documentation in accordance with ISO and QHSE standards for audit readiness and traceability. - Operational Planning:
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to schedule training sessions efficiently, ensuring resource availability and smooth execution. Provide technical support to the sales team in understanding client needs and training specifications. - Mentorship:
Support, coach, and monitor junior trainers to uphold training quality and consistency. Assist in building a strong, knowledge-driven training team.

Stay current with developments in food safety, occupational health, quality, and environmental standards. Maintain and renew relevant trainer certifications and accreditations regularly. - Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere strictly to the organization’s internal QHSE policies, ISO standard procedures, and applicable legal requirements during training planning and execution.
Job Qualifications
- Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Veterinary Science, Environmental Health, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or other related disciplines. - Certifications:
- IRCA-accredited Lead Auditor Course.
- HABC Level 4 Award in Food Safety and/or HACCP.
- Train the Trainer certification.
- ISO Lead Auditor Certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22000.
- Municipal Trainer Pre-qualification (preferred or required in Bahrain).
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar training role with a bachelor’s degree, or
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a diploma.
- Previous work in accredited training service providers or consulting organizations is an added advantage.
QHSE and Food Safety Trainer – Roles
- In-depth knowledge of ISO Management Systems (9001, 14001, 22000, 45001) and HACCP principles.
- Strong skills in Training Needs Analysis, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, and Learning Evaluation.
- Excellent presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in training operations management, including scheduling, material preparation, and logistical planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in data gathering, interpretation, and reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
