QC Trainee- Freshers

A Biscuit Manufacturing Company in Calicut, Kerala, India, is hiring QC Trainee-Freshers with Food Science and Technology Graduation and following:

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Control team in performing routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards and food safety guidelines.
• Collect and prepare product samples for laboratory testing and maintain proper documentation.
• Support in conducting sensory evaluations, weight checks, and packaging inspections.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).

• Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities observed during the production process.
• Assist in maintaining records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Support the QC team during internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
• Learn and adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards applicable to a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in the food industry are preferred.
