A Food Grain and Spices Industry in Ajman, UAE is looking for a QC Supervisor with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Manage QC Activities: Oversee all quality control processes to ensure production meets legal and quality standards in Spices.
- Quality Control Programs: Manage and continuously improve the factory’s quality control programs, ensuring adherence to internal and external QC audits.
- Supervise QC Inspections: Ensure timely inspection schedules, review results, and maintain quality records.
- Support Production Team: Assist the production team by addressing internal and external quality-related queries.
- Quality Control Plan: Assess and enforce the implementation of the quality control plan and critical control points (CCPs).
- Allocate Responsibilities: Assign quality control duties across various production areas of Spices.
- Audit Participation: Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure that all certifications and approvals are up to date.
- Material Tracking: Manage systems for the accurate identification of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Calibration Management: Supervise the proper calibration of testing equipment and tools.
- Nonconformity Analysis: Lead the production team in investigating nonconformities and developing corrective actions.
Job Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment, specifically in grains, spices, or milling.
- Audit Experience: Experience in conducting and managing internal/external QMS audits and addressing nonconformities.
- People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to train and lead the QC team and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all quality and regulatory standards.
