A leading FMCG Group in Dubai, UAE, is looking for a QC Officer – Quality Control Officer – Meat Processing for their Meat Processing Unit

Job Responsibilities

  • Quality Inspection & Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify any deviations, inconsistencies, or non-conformities.
  • Testing & Documentation: Apply standardised quality control testing methods and accurately record all quality data, batch reports, and test results using SAP ERP.
  • Audits & Compliance: Perform internal audits, tests, and inspections to ensure products comply with GMG quality standards, HACCP, GMP, and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Corrective Actions: Identify non-compliance issues, initiate corrective measures, coordinate with production teams to adjust processes, and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, conducting root cause analyses, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to verify that raw materials meet GMG quality specifications, communicate updates on standards and best practices, and monitor supplier performance.
  • Safety & Training: Ensure proper use of safety equipment during quality control procedures and actively participate in staff training programs to promote a culture of quality and safety.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives aimed at enhancing quality control processes, reducing errors, and improving overall operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Food Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality control processes, food safety regulations, and meat processing standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in SAP ERP for data entry, reporting, and batch documentation.
  • Analytical Ability: Exceptional analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in inspections and documentation to ensure compliance with GMG and regulatory standards.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Effective verbal and written communication skills to report findings, coordinate with teams, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify potential issues and recommend solutions to maintain product quality.
