A Bakery Industry in Abu Dhabi UAE is hiring a QC Officer with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished bakery products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other food safety regulations.
- Identify, report, and assist in the resolution of quality deviations and non-conformities.
- Perform sensory evaluations, microbiological testing, and other quality assessments as required.
- Oversee hygiene and sanitation practices in the production facility to maintain food safety standards.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation, reports, and records are maintained accurately and updated regularly.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external regulatory inspections.
- Train production staff on quality control procedures, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to continuously improve product quality and production efficiency.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in bakery production.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other food safety regulations.
- Experience in quality control testing methods such as sensory evaluation, microbiological analysis, and chemical testing.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle quality-related challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
