An Ice factory in Dubai, UAE is looking for a QC Controller with the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Report to top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the FSMS.
- Oversee day-to-day QC department activities.
- HACCP coordination, implementation and updating food safety programs regarding the requirements of Dubai municipality, ESMA authority & certification body.
- Attend annual and surveillance food safety audits.
- Monitors quality control on daily reports.
- Schedule calibration and ensure all laboratory instruments are functioning accurately.
- Investigate customer complaints and take corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and implement ISO procedures across the organization.
- To plan and improve the QC procedure according to product specifications, process, quality standard.
- Assure that all materials used in production are of food-grade quality.
- Responsible for standard specifications of finished products.
- Responsible for performing microbial analysis of Raw, Semi Finished and Finished goods.
- Analyze & identify the root cause affecting quality measures & fix it up.
- Special attention to customer complaints & coordination with the Sales team.
- Led and managed all customers’ requisite audits of our company’s manufacturing process and submitted the documents to the legal authority.
- Attend seminars, training and exams representing Modern Ice Factory.
- Daily microbiological analysis for raw water, process water (after UV treatment) and finished products, updating daily test results for local authority review.
- Microbiological swab analysis for food handlers’ hand, food contact surface and food transportation vehicle.
- Monitor and minimize production NCRs.
- Coordinates with production representatives in investigating customer complaints and in taking corrective and preventive action.
- Monitoring & recording of hygiene, General cleanliness, sanitation and temperature, of factory Store, production area, surroundings, and vehicle on daily basis.
Job Qualifications
- Updating and renewing the food handlers Occupational Health Card & BFTC
- Distribution of products in compliance with HACCP principles.
- Coordinating with External vendors in terms of the supply of plastic bags.
- Responsible for conducting supplier audits and internal audits.
- Ensuring relevant training and competencies for the food safety team.
- Identify the training needs for all the employees to “Quality related training”, conduct training and continuously monitor their performances and ensure overall improvement of quality in all aspects.
