Qatar Catering Company in Doha is looking for a Senior Food Safety & Hygiene Officer who is ISO and HACCP experienced and with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in accordance with HACCP and ISO standards.
  • Conduct regular hygiene inspections of kitchen, storage, and service areas to ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations.
  • Supervise food handlers and ensure all staff follow proper personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
  • Conduct food safety training programs for catering and kitchen staff to maintain a culture of safety and awareness.
  • Coordinate with the operations and quality assurance teams to ensure all catering outlets meet set hygiene and safety benchmarks.

  • Investigate any food safety non-conformance, contamination, or customer complaints, and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain up-to-date records of temperature logs, cleaning schedules, pest control reports, and staff training sessions.
  • Support the team during internal and external audits, including inspections by regulatory authorities.
  • Review suppliers and raw materials to ensure that all incoming products meet the company’s food quality and safety requirements.
  • Generate detailed inspection and audit reports for management review.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • HACCP and ISO certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in catering or large-scale food production operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, hygiene practices, and catering industry standards.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office packages for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced catering environment and manage multiple locations.
