Job Responsibilities
- Maintain corporate confidentiality and promote a safe and healthy working environment. Advance biotechnology centre
- Maintain and operate standard R&D equipment and follow best practices in research and development.
- Perform trials and testing to support product development and innovation at Puratos.
- Prepare samples and ingredients for testing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct consumer research to identify market trends and customer preferences.
- Utilize qualitative data analysis techniques to interpret research findings and guide product development.
- Perform data analysis in research projects to derive insights and optimize formulations.
- Research websites, industry reports, and scientific literature to stay updated on emerging trends.
- Support ongoing process development and prototyping through R&D studies based on project priorities.
- Document experiments, methodologies, and results in laboratory notebooks with full traceability.
- Conduct benchmarking studies of competitor products to Puratos focusing on bread improvers and cake mixes.
- Gather market intelligence on trends, competitive activity, and consumer requirements for product development.
- Report trial findings and establish objectives to drive project completion and sales outcomes.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to analyze and report local market trends.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Support company objectives, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Job Qualifications
- 2-5 years of R&D experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication/technical abilities.
- Basic applied knowledge and interest in food ingredients and applications.
