Production cum Quality Officer for a leading Food Manufacturing factory located in Calicut, Kerala. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates in Food Technology, Chemistry, and related disciplines who are looking to build their career in food manufacturing and quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor daily food production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Implement and maintain food quality control procedures across raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), GMP, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support production planning and coordinate with the quality assurance team to maintain product consistency.
- Assist in troubleshooting production or quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Job Qualifications
Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry
- B.Tech / M.Tech in relevant disciplines
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology
- Basic knowledge of food processing and quality control principles
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Good communication skills in Malayalam and English
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Freshers can apply
- Prior internship or industrial training in food manufacturing will be an added advantage
