Microbiologist Lab Technician – Dubai vacancy at a leading Manufacturing Company in Dubai, UAE; support quality, safety, and analytical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate execution, reporting, and documentation of laboratory tests related to wheat, flour, and feed products. This role requires demonstrated technical competence and adherence to all standards that impact product safety, legality, and overall quality. The position of Microbiologist Lab Technician – Dubai is essential for ensuring compliance and excellence in food safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products to assess wheat, flour, and feed quality.
  • Perform incoming packaging material inspections, ensuring all materials meet company specifications.
  • Carry out online process inspections for finished and semi-finished products to verify compliance with process parameters.
  • Prepare, interpret, and communicate accurate test results to relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation related to ISO 17025, HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC standards.
  • Ensure all testing activities align with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality plans.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing records, test data, and required laboratory documentation.

Equipment Handling & Laboratory Maintenance

  • Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, ensuring all equipment functions within required accuracy limits.
  • Maintain calibration, repair, and usage records for all laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure the laboratory and associated work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with GMP requirements.

Safety, Risk Management & Compliance – Microbiologist Lab Technician – Dubai

  • Ensure raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG) comply with all safety and quality regulations.
  • Follow all company policies, safety rules, and laboratory best practices.
  • Assist supervisors and managers in identifying workplace hazards and participate in risk assessments.
  • Adhere to established risk management procedures while performing tasks and projects.
  • Promptly report any incidents, unsafe conditions, or near-misses to supervisors.
  • Avoid misuse or interference with any safety devices or risk-control equipment.
  • Maintain feed analysis reports and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities and support the management team with any additional tasks.
  • Contribute to maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence in the laboratory and production areas.
  • Completion of all laboratory analyses as per the approved quality plan.
  • Adherence to the shop-floor inspection plan, with timely and accurate reporting.
  • Compliance with safety standards, documentation accuracy, and proper equipment handling.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Chemistry
    • Biochemistry
    • Biotechnology
    • Microbiology
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in a relevant industry, preferably within:
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and quality systems is highly desirable.
