A Contracting Company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Microbiologist with Food and Water Testing:
Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing of food and water samples according to established protocols and procedures.
- Perform microbial enumeration, identification, and characterization using appropriate microbiological techniques.
- Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards, including HACCP and ISO regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with other team members to interpret test results and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
- Contribute to the development and validation of new testing methodologies.
- Actively engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand service offerings.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.9. Possess a valid UAE driving license.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in microbiological testing of food and water, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, including culture-based methods, PCR, and molecular biology.
- Familiarity with food safety management systems, such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP.
