Junior Quality Controller – for a Poultry Farmong and ,Processing company in Dubai UAE with the following :

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and random quality inspections on poultry , pastured chicken products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards for safety, hygiene, and quality.
  • Oversee key stages of processing such as live bird reception, slaughter, evisceration, chilling, and final packaging, ensuring that all operations comply with HACCP requirements and product specifications.
  • Verify and document that Halal slaughtering practices are strictly adhered to and properly recorded in line with Halal certification standards.
  • Monitor and assess sanitation and hygiene practices of personnel, equipment, and processing areas, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  • Assist in the implementation, verification, and updating of the facility’s HACCP plans specific to poultry processing.

  • Support the preparation for and participation in internal audits, third-party customer audits, Halal certification audits, and inspections by regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed quality assurance records, logs, and reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with documentation standards.
  • Communicate any non-conformities or deviations promptly to the Quality Supervisor and Production Team and assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Veterinary Science, Meat/Poultry Technology, Food Technology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or food safety within the poultry or meat processing industry.
  • Good working knowledge of HACCP principles, Halal requirements, GMP, and relevant food safety regulations applicable to poultry processing.
  • Familiarity with SSOPs and poultry-specific hygiene and biosecurity controls.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills to identify deviations or potential risks.
  • Clear and confident communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment and maintain performance in a high-paced production setting.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
