An FMCG Company in Ontario, Canada is hiring a Junior Food Scientist with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Food Science Principles, basic understanding of ingredient functionality with emphasis on coating systems and applications.
  • Understanding of Sensory evaluation techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple task and project; manage to established deadlines.
  • Familiarity with drafting formulations.
  • Superior organizational and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders with verbal, written and electronic modes.
  • Adept critical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge in culinary principles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science or related field.
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability and flexibility concerning work environment & project priority.
  • Good analytical skills and decision-making ability.
  • Time management skills and ability to handle fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
