A certifications and Food Safety Consulting company in Dubai, UAE is hiring an ISO 22000:2018 (FSMS) and HACCP Auditor-Freelancer:

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct Audits: Perform internal and external audits of FSMS (Food Safety Management Systems) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
  • Documentation Review: Evaluate quality documents, records, and procedures for adequacy, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Report Findings: Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings, non-conformities, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Follow-Up: Assist in developing and implementing corrective actions based on audit results to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay Updated: Monitor and stay current with changes in food regulations, ISO standards, and industry practices.
  • Provide Guidance: Offer expert advice and guidance to teams on food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Support Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FSMS, risk management protocols, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate Training: Conduct training sessions on food safety, FSMS principles, and auditing procedures for team members.
  • Travel for Audits: Willingness to travel as needed for site audits and external evaluations.

Job Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Technology.
    • ISO 22000:2018 certification or similar relevant certifications.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience in the Food Sector or related industries (e.g., auditing, research, or industry roles in the Food Sector).
    • Proven experience in auditing FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) companies.
    • Familiarity with ISO standards and food sector regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of FSMS principles and practices.
    • Understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards in the food sector.

  • Tools & Software:
    • Proficiency in audit management software and related tools.
    • Familiarity with documentation and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Other Considerations:
    • Flexibility in scheduling audits and meetings.
    • Willingness to travel for site audits as required.
    • Ability to provide professional references or previous audit reports upon request.
  • Competency:
    • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the food industry.
    • Strong command of English with excellent communication skills.
