Looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control (QC) Executive to join a manufacturing team in Ajman, UAE, specializing in ice cream and frozen desserts production. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance, while also providing strong technical support to the Research & Development (R&D) team during product innovation, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position requires hands-on experience in dairy or frozen dessert manufacturing, a solid understanding of food safety management systems, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain consistent product standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control quality parameters of ice cream and frozen dessert products across all stages of production, including raw material intake, processing, freezing, packaging, and storage
  • Conduct routine quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Support the R&D team during new product development, formulation trials, pilot runs, and scale-up activities.
  • Perform sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and product stability testing to assess product performance and consistency
  • Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, and UAE food safety regulations
  • Maintain, review, and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, product specifications, and quality records
  • Investigate quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the supply chain
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and correct usage of laboratory and quality testing equipment
  • Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the production facility

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline
  • 2–5 years of hands-on Quality Control experience in ice cream, frozen desserts, or dairy manufacturing (mandatory)
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 food safety systems
  • Proven experience working with R&D teams, with a good understanding of formulation, ingredients, and process parameters.

  • Familiarity with sensory analysis techniques, shelf-life evaluation, and basic laboratory testing methods
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including cold room or freezer conditions when required
  • Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of UAE food laws and regulatory requirements is a strong advantage
