Qatar Duty Free is recruiting for Hygiene Supervisor with the following experience :

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees to maintain compliance with FSMS HACCP, Food Safety and Quality Systems program, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures all employee annual and ongoing food safety training is conducted to help create a culture of food safety.
  • Responsible for the implementation, and maintenance of the FSMS Food safety management system, drafting the procedures and auditing documentation for compliance.
  • Completes all verifications/validations as defined in the FSMS program. Reviews and verifies production documents as outlined in HACCP, and FSMS programs.
  • Ensuring that food handlers maintain safe personal hygiene.
  • Monitor trends in consumer complaints database and reports data to management on a timely basis. Investigates complaints related to food safety and quality.
  • Responsible to document appropriate corrective actions and provide recommendations.
  • Assist the hygiene team with conducting, documenting and following the routine food safety internal audits. Ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean and sanitized equipment for operational use.
  • Responsible for proper documentation & record of cleaning material stocks and monthly inventory.
  • Ensure effective pest control is carried out in coordination with the out sourced pest control contract staff.
  • Coordination with maintenance, production and operations on daily activities. Provide timely communication on all critical issues.
  • Ensuring that a business’s food safety program is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
  • Stay up-to-date of all relevant food safety legislation and standards that are applicable to the food business.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. 

Qualifications

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related
  • Experience in the HACCP implementation Process & full knowledge of the HACCP system
  • Knowledge & handling of cleaning chemicals, sensitive and sophisticated production equipment, machinery and cleaning tools.
  • Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering.
  • Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 internal auditor certification.
