Hygiene Officer Dubai, UAE, for a leading Hotel Group with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and enforcement of hygiene and food safety standards across all F&B outlets, kitchens, food storage, and receiving areas.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Dubai Municipality guidelines, food safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously update HACCP plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct scheduled and surprise hygiene inspections and audits to assess cleanliness, food handling practices, and overall compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate pest control programs in collaboration with approved third-party service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of hygiene activities, including cleaning schedules, temperature logs, calibration reports, and inspection checklists.
  • Organize and conduct regular training sessions for kitchen and service staff on hygiene practices, personal cleanliness, and food safety protocols.
  • Monitor and follow up on non-conformities identified during internal and external audits, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Ensure proper procedures for food handling, storage, thawing, reheating, and disposal are consistently followed.
  • Prepare the property for health inspections and accompany inspectors during official audits, addressing queries and ensuring a successful outcome.

Job Qualifications -Hygiene Officer Dubai

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a hotel or high-volume food service environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HACCP principles, GMPs, and Dubai Municipality regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
