A Star Rated Hotel Facility in Ras Al Khaimah is hiring a Hygiene Officer with the following experience in:
Responsibilities
- Create and enforce hygiene policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Design and implement hygiene protocols tailored to the hotel’s specific needs.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on proper hygiene practices.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in hygiene standards and communicate changes to relevant teams.
- Perform regular hygiene inspections across all hotel departments.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Maintain detailed records of hygiene protocols, training sessions, and inspection results.
- Prepare reports for management on hygiene performance and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene Management is required.
- Additional certifications in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and ISO 22000 are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective hygiene protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international hygiene regulations.
- Familiarity with the specific hygiene challenges in the hospitality sector.
