A Star Rated Hotel Facility in Ras Al Khaimah is hiring a Hygiene Officer with the following experience in:

Responsibilities

  • Create and enforce hygiene policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Design and implement hygiene protocols tailored to the hotel’s specific needs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on proper hygiene practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in hygiene standards and communicate changes to relevant teams.
  • Perform regular hygiene inspections across all hotel departments.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of hygiene protocols, training sessions, and inspection results.
  • Prepare reports for management on hygiene performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, or a related field.
  • Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene Management is required.
  • Additional certifications in HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and ISO 22000 are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective hygiene protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international hygiene regulations.
  • Familiarity with the specific hygiene challenges in the hospitality sector.
