A Healthcare Management Company in Dubai UAE, is looking for a Dietitian for their Clinical Nutrition Services with the following:

Job Responsibilities

1. Medical Nutrition Therapy & Clinical Assessment

  • Perform detailed nutritional assessments to evaluate patients’ medical history, diet restrictions, lab results, and current health conditions.
  • Interpret and implement patient diet orders in accordance with physician recommendations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans tailored to diagnosis and treatment goals.
  • Provide advanced nutrition support consultations, including enteral and parenteral nutrition guidance.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of diet orders based on diagnosis and recommend necessary modifications.

2. Patient Counseling & Education

  • Provide one-on-one and group diet counseling sessions for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition principles, dietary modifications, portion control, and healthy food preparation techniques.
  • Promote healthy eating habits to prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, and hypertension.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor progress and adjust nutrition plans accordingly.

3. Interdisciplinary Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality nutrition care.
  • Act as a Dietetic Advisor to medical, nursing, and catering teams within assigned clinical areas.
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to patient management strategies.

4. Food Service & Quality Control

  • Inspect meals to ensure compliance with prescribed diets, food safety standards, palatability, and presentation guidelines.
  • Provide appropriate meal substitutions in line with patient dietary restrictions.
  • Supervise and guide staff involved in meal planning, preparation, and service delivery.
  • Support Nutrition Services Department operations to ensure regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of nutritional care plans, patient interventions, and clinical progress notes.
  • Record statistical data and generate departmental reports as required by healthcare facility standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and healthcare quality frameworks in Dubai.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Clinical Nutrition (or equivalent qualification).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure under Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and healthcare management protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.
