A Health Care Services in Riyadh Saudi Arabia is hiring a Food Analyst with the following:
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological tests to support diagnosis and disease treatment.
- Ensure timely completion and reporting of laboratory tests while maintaining the Laboratory Information System.
- Maintain adequate laboratory supplies and manage the ordering and inventory system for uninterrupted service.
- Assist in developing new testing methodologies to enhance laboratory services in the Health Care Group.
- Perform water and bacteriological tests in compliance with laboratory quality control standards.
- Support the Section Supervisor in employee performance appraisals, counseling, and training of junior personnel.
- Participate in evaluating potential candidates for employment within the laboratory.
- Implement and adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with quality and accreditation standards, including CBAHI, JCI, CAP, and SFDA.
- Perform technical duties, including weekend, night shifts, and on-call coverage as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, repair logs, and operation records in compliance with accreditation requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline of Health Care Services.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant laboratory experience as Food Analyst.
