A snacking and beverage manufacturer in Ontario, Canada is hiring a HACCP Coordinator with the following:
Responsibilities
- Assists the QA Manager in ensuring requirements are met for Food Identity Preserved Claims and Certifications, GFSI (SQF/BRC) standards, and legal/regulatory (CFIA, FDA, USDA, Export) compliances.
- Main contact for external audits and export communications.
- Takes the lead in maintaining and coordinating the implementation of the Food Safety/HACCP plan, Prerequisite program and other quality-related plans, SOPs and documentation.
- Performs Reassessment/review of HACCP plan and validation of Critical Control points, process controls and sanitation SOPs.
- Conducts Process and material inputs Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology).
- HACCP training and certification is required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in food safety and quality assurance preferably in Aseptic methods of Food/Beverage Manufacturing.
