FSMS Auditor -Freelance Dubai – Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Auditor to join a Certification Division in Dubai. This freelance role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across the food industry—including manufacturing, catering, and food services—ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of their food safety management systems.

Job Responsibilities– FSMS Auditor

• Conduct third-party certification audits for Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), including ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000, and HACCP, in alignment with Dubai Municipality and UAE national food safety regulations.
• Carry out second-party food safety and quality audits on behalf of clients and their suppliers, ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of food safety management systems, identify areas for improvement, and provide clear, structured audit findings to clients.

• Review and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions taken by clients to address non-conformities raised during audits.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of audit activities, including planning, execution, findings, and follow-up by FSMS Auditor -Freelance Dubai.
• Stay current with changes in FSMS standards, certification procedures, and industry-specific food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the Certification Office and Food & Beverage Sector Manager to schedule audits, improve auditing processes, and upgrade auditor qualifications.

• Ensure proper communication of updates, clarifications, and scheme requirements related to ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and other relevant food safety programs.
• Participate in regular auditor training, calibration sessions, and technical meetings as required by the organization.
• Represent the certification body in a professional and impartial manner during all client interactions.
• Support additional activities as assigned by management in relation to certification operations and food safety service expansion.

Job Qualifications – FSMS Auditor -Freelance Dubai

• A bachelor’s degree in food technology, food science, microbiology, biotechnology, or any other bioscience-related field.
• A minimum of four years of professional work experience in the food industry, with preference for candidates who have worked in catering, food service, or manufacturing environments.
• At least one year of experience as a qualified FSMS Lead Auditor conducting audits under ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 standards.
• Successfully completed a recognized Lead Auditor training course for ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000.
• Submission of audit logs showing evidence of completed audits in observer, team auditor, and lead auditor roles, in accordance with qualification requirements.
• Strong understanding of food safety principles, ISO management systems, and international certification requirements.
• Excellent ability to read, interpret, and apply audit standards, protocols, and work instructions.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain audit results clearly and professionally.
• High level of self-motivation, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel throughout Dubai and other Emirates to conduct audits and attend meetings.
• Commitment to continuous learning, maintaining audit credentials, and professional integrity in all audit activities.
