A job Consultant company in Bahrain is hiring a Food Technologist with the following:

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical expertise and support in long-life shelf products.
  • Formulate bakery recipes – for products such as cookies, doughs, and cakes which deliver optimal flavour systems.
  • Manage the food safety program within the pilot plant including achieving compliance with any required external standards.
  • Formulate bakery recipes – for products such as cereal, cookies, and doughs, which deliver optimal flavour systems that comply with cost, product design, regulatory, and sensory requirements to increase key accounts’ global sales at high margins.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to customers for a broad range of food & beverage applications.
  • Maintains good communication standards across the business environment.
  • Promoting ingredients and capabilities through article contributions (media), speaking engagements, and external presentations (events, trade organization educational sessions).
  • Utilizing project management skills and knowledge management tools to bring the best solutions to customers and manage & prioritize work.
  • Manages multiple projects and tasks with changing priorities Communicates effectively to keep account manager, customer, and Technical Services Manager apprised of project status.
  • Works in improving the formulation and stability properties of natural colours, light stability, and thermal stability, by physical modification of the colourants.
  • Assists in maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science food science or a related academic discipline.
  • Experience of 5 to 8 years preferred.
