Food Technologist Trainee

Calling for a Food Technologist Trainee to join Quick Service Cloud Restaurant in Kochi. This role is ideal for recent graduates or freshers eager to gain hands-on experience in food technology, quality control, and business operations. As a trainee, you will be involved in day-to-day activities that ensure smooth functioning of production, packaging, sales, and customer service while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are tracked and maintained accurately.
• Handle packaging and dispatch of customer orders in line with company quality and hygiene standards.
• Manage and update orders through Amazon Seller Central and the company website, ensuring accurate order processing.
• Coordinate with delivery partners for pickups, returns, and timely deliveries.
• Support customer care operations, primarily through email communication, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
• Participate in R&D activities, including the development of new products and packaging innovations.
• Ensure all products comply with FSSAI quality and safety regulations.
• Assist in basic accounts management related to sales tracking and reporting.
• Conduct shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and maintain proper documentation for all products.
• Contribute to day-to-day operational tasks, gaining exposure across multiple business functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field (preferred).
• Freshers welcome; internship or project experience in food industry is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of FSSAI guidelines, food safety, and quality standards.
• Good communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a team environment.
• Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office, e-commerce platforms, and email communication tools.

Job Type: Full-time, Internship (Fresher)
Stipend/Pay: ₹2,500 – ₹3,000 per month
