Job Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory Affairs:
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards (FDA, USDA, EFSA, etc.).
    • Prepare and review technical documentation, including product labels and specifications.
    • Stay updated on food safety laws and provide regulatory guidance to internal teams.
  1. Technical Sales & Support:
    • Provide technical expertise to clients on food ingredients, formulations, and applications.
    • Support sales teams by addressing customer inquiries and resolving product-related issues.
    • Conduct virtual training sessions or webinars on food safety and product development.
  2. Project Management:
    • Oversee product development projects from concept to market launch.
    • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of projects.
    • Document and analyze project progress and make data-driven recommendations.
  3. Quality Assurance & Audits:
    • Develop and implement food safety and quality assurance programs.
    • Conduct remote audits and assessments of food safety management systems.
    • Investigate customer complaints and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Research & Innovation:
    • Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to guide product innovation.
    • Evaluate new food ingredients, processes, and technologies.
    • Create technical reports and whitepapers on emerging food science topics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or product development.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, ISO 22000).
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and regulatory compliance software.
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
