A Recruitment Consultancy in Dubai UAE is looking for a Food Technologist with the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the formulation, testing, and improvement of food products within the bakery and confectionery categories.
  • Ensure that all products meet food safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and nutritional requirements.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and interpret consumer feedback to inform product refinements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports of lab trials, product testing, and shelf-life studies.

  • Support the implementation of quality control protocols across all stages of production.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, procurement, and production teams to ensure that product specifications, cost targets, and timelines are met.
  • Stay abreast of emerging food trends, technologies, and regulatory updates to drive innovation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in product development and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in food applications related to bakery and confectionery.
  • Practical knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and quality assurance systems.
  • Demonstrated reliability, a positive work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the science behind food production, including ingredient functionality and formulation principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Internship or practical experience in product development or food manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with sensory evaluation protocols and basic statistical analysis.
