Job Responsibilities -Food Technologist
- Assist in food processing operations by supporting production activities and ensuring processes follow established standards and procedures.
- Support the Research and Development (R&D) team in product trials, new product development, recipe standardization, and process optimization.
- Participate in sensory evaluation of food products, including appearance, texture, taste, aroma, and overall acceptability.
- Assist in basic food formulation activities, ingredient trials, and evaluation of formulation performance.
Monitor raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality, safety, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and ISO during processing and handling.
- Support implementation and maintenance of food safety systems, hygiene practices, and quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, including SOPs, quality checklists, test reports, batch records, and compliance documents.
- Assist in identifying quality deviations, non-conformances, and process issues, and report findings to senior team members.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, shelf life, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of tasks. - Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors to support overall food technology and quality objectives.
Job Qualifications
- B Voc / BSc / B.Tech / MSc in Food Technology or related discipline
- Candidates with minimum 6 months of relevant experience will be preferred
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and interest in food processing are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of food processing techniques
- Knowledge of sensory evaluation methods and food quality parameters.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO)
- Ability to handle documentation and report writing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated, task-driven, and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
