Food Technologist
Responsibilities
- Create recipes and applications for product demonstrations for customer visits and trade shows.
- Follow current culinary trends and present ideas to Sales and Marketing teams.
- Compound and blend flavour products as needed for day-to-day functions
- Effectively and efficiently execute lab projects that are assigned
- Engage in sensory support for the product development and quality team as needed
- Support product development and applications team in tastings, sharing feedback and information on ideas and concepts; as well as sample creation as needed
- Assist the quality team in the evaluation and approval of raw materials and finished goods
- Work in a collaborative team environment with operations, regulatory, quality, sales and marketing personnel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in culinary science, food science or related field required
- 2+ years of relevant experience and a passion for making food taste great
- Strong passion for food and cooking.
