Food Safety Officer – Farm Produce

A Gourmet Farm Produce Company in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Food Safety Officer with the following:

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify and mitigate food safety risks.
• Train staff on food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
• Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

• Collaborate with food production facilities, restaurants, and suppliers to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in food safety.
• Monitor and track food safety metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to staff and stakeholders on food safety practices and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, public health, or a related field.
• Proven experience in food safety or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate food safety risks.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
