Dubai Muncipality is hiring a Food Safety Officer with the following:
Responsibilities
- 1- Pre-preparation of inspections of small food establishments and activity by determining their geographical locations and the results of previous inspection reports in order to provide all data and information about those establishments.
- 2- Implementation of inspection programs for small-sized food establishments and activities subject to the control of the Division prior to the exercise of their food activity, including the control and inspection of permanent food establishments to inspect the food handled therein, its inspection results, means of transportation, adulterated food, and others
- 3- Implement inspection programs to inspect the means of food transport used by food establishments and workers in those small food establishments to ensure their safety and freedom from diseases, as well as to verify compliance with approved regulations, policies and specifications.
- Receive the necessary documents to carry out inspections of small-scale food establishments, including decorative schemes, pest control contracts, food safety policy certificates, thermal preservation records for food, workers’ health cards, fat trap records, and other documents specified for inspection.
- Registration of all types of packaged food products traded in small-sized food establishments in charge of inspection in the Emirate of Dubai within the food registration, classification and evaluation program, in accordance with the work mechanism followed and the rules and regulations issued in this regard.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Food Safety, Food Science, Food Processing, Public Health – Environmental Health
- Minimum 3 Years Experience.
